Why we do this
Most programmes ask you to decide before you know. You pay, you hope, and if it turns out not to suit your family you quietly stop coming and write off the money.
We would rather carry that risk than have you carry it. We have watched this work with real families, so we are not being brave — we are being straightforward about what we already believe.
And if it does not work for your child, we would genuinely like to know why. That is worth more to us than the fee.
How a refund actually works
-
Come to the whole first month
All four sessions. This is the only condition, and it is not a trick — a reading habit does not show itself in one session, and we would rather you judged us on the real thing.
-
Tell us it didn’t work
An email, a WhatsApp message, a phone call. Whichever is easiest. There is no form to hunt for and no deadline to miss.
-
Answer a few questions — only if you want to
What worked. What didn’t. What you had hoped for that we missed. Every question is optional and skipping them changes nothing about your refund. We ask because it makes the next season better, not because it earns you your money.
-
Sign one short line
A simple pledge that the programme did not deliver what we promised. No essay, no justification, no explaining yourself to us.
-
We refund you
Full or partial — you choose which. Back to the account you paid from.
“I gave this a full month. It did not deliver what Inner Companion promised, and I would like my money back.”
That is the entire document. We wrote it short on purpose — a long form is just a way of hoping you give up.
You choose full or partial. Some families have told us a programme half-worked, and asked for half back. We think that is fair and we honour it. You decide what is right; we do not argue.
The small print, which is small
One month per family, per programme. We are a two-person foundation and this promise only stays possible because it is used honestly — which, so far, it always has been.
If you paid a longer-term rate and want to stop after the first month, we refund that first month and cancel the rest. You are never locked in.
If the fee itself is the barrier rather than the programme, please just say so. We hold pay-it-forward places on most things and we would rather your child came.
